I drove past a house that lost a good size limb due to hurricane Ike. It was cut into 8 to 9 foot sections. Ranging in size from about 1.5 inches to about 6 inches.

Ok Slat, you are going to LOVE pecan, use it for mild meats like fish. It is awesome.

Man thats great. My last house was over 100 years old and had over 20 old, large pecan trees on the property. Because of their age, they dropped limbs every time a bad storm blew through. I didn't have a smoker back then...but I wish I could get some of those limbs now!

I have used Pecan with a little Mesquite for Ribs and it's my prefered smoke for them. Give it a try!
