I have one and it works great- just make sure to have some extra batteries after the first cook or 2

Mine have been pretty good, but I don't get the 100 ft they say. I hate the switch location to, but learned to live with it. I need new probes, burned one up last cook.

:lol::lol:...Nope...I'm a WSM kinda guy! :-P I can usually dial it in and forget about it. This is just for peace of mind so I can get a little shut eye!

Have one and love it also. Burnt out a probe last week as well. My wife jokes that it helps me micro-manage the firebox ... funny, the laughing stops when the ribs are done. :)

Amazon has the ET-73 for $59 and the ET-7 for $39. They are both dual probe. The 7 has 2 spike probes for 2 meats and 73 has 1 spike for meat and a blunt for the pit. They look different.
Why would you pay nearly double for the 73?
Not trying to be a smarta.. but is one really better?

You're gonna like that remote, but you won't get 100 feet of wireless signal. Mine does real good on batteries, I still have the orignal batteries with over 20 cooks on them.

I like mine and am looking to get a second one. It has worked very well. Good luck with the comp.
