man that looked good. wnkt seems to have beat me to the eggs. in hawaii its a custom for folks going to a party to bring something. that way there is enough for everyone to take home some food. came back to the mainland and found that this is a big no no. i got invited to a biker party. so my wife and i brought a big plate of japanese style chicken wings. man that stuff lasted about 0.5 seconds. anyway we were told by a friend that the hostess was realy ticked off with us. so we went and explained that it was a custom in hawaii and we were sorry about it. the mention of hawaii and all was well. i think it should be a custom here. go to a party and bring a dish. more the merrier !
