Excellent idea - I like it better then the pepper roaster I have, which doesn't always hold the peppers after the bacom has been applied... this would work great!

Yes , I do , but I know I will eat 6 or 8 at a time and I might not need that much bacon , as much as I would love to have it

Great idea! Did you have trouble with the japs falling off the squewers once they got soft from cooking?

No they did the best yet, as you can see I had the squewers 3/4 " or so from the top , they held well. I like to grill mine indirect "350*"this makes a sweet jap with crispy bacon . The best way to me is to have a good heat flow around the jap to cook even.

i'm wondering if you could load the rib rack with some slabs, then pin the ABT's to the ribs with the skewers, and enhance the whole cooking experience,
