I believe I screwed up. I have a pork loin that I took out of the deep freeze a week ago last Wednesday and put in the frig. I planned on doing a cook last weekend, but didn't. Any idea if the thing is still any good? I've never left pork for that long in the frig and then used it. I guess I should probably toss it, but what do you think.
edit: Oh, and it is tightly wrapped in two layers of butcher paper.

If it was vacuum packed mmmm maybe but I personally would not trust it.
Give it a good look and smell it.

The old smell test should tell ya. When in doubt throw it out.

If there is a question about it, I say get rid of it.
A new pork loin is alot cheaper and less painful then getting sick.

Give it the old bird dog test!!!
When in doubt throw it out. I don't think I would take a chance after that long. Pork loin is too cheap to risk it.
