View Full Version : Saturday's cook

I got busy and didn't post yesterday. The kids all came over Saturday and some returned yesterday.
Started the pork butt Friday night, and added a bone in pork loin Saturday. Butt done in about 15 hours, wrapped and coolered. The loin was done in about 3 hrs. (152 degrees), wrappped, cooled and put in the fridge for Sunday. The fatties were cooked and served throughout the day. A few ABT's with cream cheese, cheddar and the butt rub mixed in. The butt was really good, but the loin kicked butt (excuse the pun). I didn't get a pic of the butt after I pulled it. The butcher scored the loin for me so I wouldn't have to chop through the bones. The UDS did great and the food was awesome!
