I'll have a look at lunch. While on the subject, does anyone know anything about the lump charcoal that Home Depot is selling? Never used lump and thought I might try it.

Speaking of charcoal, Kingsford musta kicked RO out of WallyM. I went to 4 local stores yesterday and no RO lump! I have a little stash but not enough for all summer.

I don't think I'll have to worry about the supply, BBQ season doesn't officially start until the 4th of July around here! I pretty much stocked up on Rancher Memorial Day Weekend last year, by then I realized how bad the stuff really was. I'd be nervous though, Kingsford 21lb 2paks are more expensive at Costco than HD's everyday price!
Here's a liitle Economic Stimulus: link for the $2 off coupon http://www.mealstogether.com/

Cheese-o-pete! My arms are tired. Drove down and picked up (5) twin packs of K... over 200 ponds. Then the pork shoulder and two slabs. Gonna clear the freezer of chicken this weekend... then the pork on Monday!

Oh yea!

Thanks for the math help, TK! Lowe's & HD are catty cornered from each other here so distance ain't an issue. i'll prob go to Loew's since the OL likes their garden section better.

i went to lowes and they were out of the kingsford. they had substituted royal oak premium 20 lb for 6.97 and get one free. i have never tried the premium but it looks nice. it is more like a round ball than a normal bricket. not like the regular royal oak or kingsford. getting ready to try it on some burgers. i think i am gonna like it!

oh btw i loaded up on the kingsford at HD!!:eusa_clap

ok i think i like the royal oak premium, depending on what i am doing. it seemed to burn slower and not quite as hot as the kingsford. maybe it would burn longer?? anyone familiar with it?/

I got one of the Smokey Joe Platinums at our local Ace, and couldn't be happier. Was going to order one from an Ebay store for $80 plus shipping, but this deal could not be beat. $20 after rebate for a Weber? I can't hit Craigslist for that kind of money.

Thanks again for the tip.

18# bags of RO briquettes are 4 bucks too. I stuck 10 bags in the garage at our new house, placing my last bag of Rancher in front of them. Told my bride that they were there when I opened the door, previous owner must have left them for us. I don't think she believed me.

Grabbed 12 18# bags at Lowe's yesterday then received a $10 off coupon for my next $50 purchase. Thinking about going back today to buy 12 more bags and something else for about $3 to take the discount.

I also found some Mali Gourmet Lump charcoal locally. It is rated below average. $5.99/10 lb.
Kingsford is stacked everywhere locally. Big piles (of charcoal).

In my opinion it's crap, you can see the layers of the plywood in many pieces. I don't care for plywood glue in my Q!
