Friday & Saturday TOPS BBQ, Jason & his son JT of Smokepranos and a couple of other BBQ teams from NorCal came out to BBQ for Fresno's American Cancer Society - Relay For Life.

We smoked 255 lbs of pork butts, grilled over 600 hamburgers, 200 chicken thighs and unfortunately 50 veggie burgers.

It was a beautiful weekend and we donated the meat and volunteered our time. Got a lot compliments from the crowd.

Thanks to everyone that helped out.:eusa_clap

Good deal! We had ours that night too, and our Rotary club always cooks brats with sauerkraut and such. We sell 'em and donate the money. Our team managed to come up with $3500 this year, and the entire Harrah, OK event raised eighty-five grand for the ACS.

That looks like a real goo time. Anytime in front of the grill is a good time though. And all for a good cause. Great job!

There are (as much as I hate to admit it) times I have to agree with Shane...

Thank you!

Good job,, our relay is next month, we'll be selling chicken and brisket dinners with all proceeds going to ACS, along with 2 cases of pork butts to supply the survivors dinner with pulled pork for everyone. I really enjoy doing these kind of events.

Thanks all. And good luck to everyone else that will be cooking for their respective Relays coming up.

BTW - Jason, I think the little fire situation we had is a great story I'll remember for a long time. I'll forever remember not to leave seasoned wood on a hot firebox.
