I recently purchased a BWS party and I'm interested in making a heat diverter and possibly a stand which could have an attached table.

If you have any pics or want to help off-line please email me at

Any help appreciated

Welcome Cowboy-
I have a heat diverter in my Party. You need 2- 1" angle irons and a sheet of 16 guage sheet metal bent wit a 1" lip at one end. Weld the angles in just below the water pan and you are good to go. Sorry I don't have pics. If you need clarification on this just call Mike @ Backwoods and he will help steer you in the right direction-he is real helpful.

Congrats on the Party! You will love it, great cooker. There are several Party owners on this forum so let us know if you have any questions.

Porky described the heat deflector perfect. I have a few pictures that may help you with placement. I haven't built a stand for mine, but am thinking just like you. I want a stand with some sort of side table. I will build one this summer, knee deep in kitchen remodel right now.
