And why?

What do you plan to cook on them?

What else are you using? For what meats?

Do you use the drum lid or a Kettle lid or something else?

The reason I ask is I'm torn between the WSM's and the Drums. I used Drums in my first comp last year and never even fired up the WSM. Just wondering what you guys that plan on competing with them plan on doing?

Before the Spicewine, I cooked brisket on mine. Cooked ribs on them last week and got 1st place.

A Buddy and his wife and My wife and I are doing our first comp next weekend and we will be using the triplets(3 UDS's) for all our meat I am also taking the weber just to finish off the chicken and what every else we need it for. We really like the way the drums work but now we get to see what they do away from home.

I'm using mine in my very first comp this weekend. Just doing brisket this time but would like to throw the ribs on there also (or I might just build a second one). My teammate will be doing the rest on his cooker.
