It seems that there are a lot of people on this board that build cookers and clones. Has anyone ever made a La Caja China Clone?

I was planning to build a La Caja clone, but the steel that I was planning to use to line the box interior and coal tray turned out to be galvanized. If you need measurements for a No.2, let me know.

I had never heard of a la caja china at the time, but when i was younger my scout troop had one my SM built. WHile it wasn't exactly the same design, it worked on the same principle. I loved it. I need to try and make one.

How hot does one of those get? Since it's sealed, do you get any flavor, or is the meat just steaming itself?
