I have seen this term used quite a bit. I pretty much can figure that it is a method of putting some marinade inside whatever it is that is being cooked. What is used for this injection? Some sort of plastic syringe? Is the injection made during the cook, before the cook? Just a novices questions here..... :confused:

yeah... you can buy injectors that start out at a few bucks for a plastic all the way up to power injectors. Some seasoning (like Tony Cachere's injectable marinades) come with a plastic injector.

Here's a couple of different types...



BTW, I just picked these sites since they were the first to some up in a Google search. There are probably cheaper places to actually buy. Cabela's comes to mind.
