Here's my newest keeper, picking it up tonight - $50. The OK Joes grill will be for sale, Brethren discount available. (if interested let me know, I can post pics if it)

Too bad it's not red, word is that the red gets up to temp quicker.

Great score!
I search CL everyday for Weber goodies, and there has been a serious dearth of it this winter.
Oh well, wife ain't angry this way.

That is the same kind I got on Craigslist about 6 months ago. I actually used it in a comp to do the chicken. Works great for grilling shrimp also.:-D

Love the table makes it easier to use.

Yeap, I plan on making this the new chicken cooker. The Competitor may not even make it to competitions - plenty of room in the Gator for the rest.

Nice platnium, how come they dont make those anymore? I like the table and lid holder. Dont need the gas ignition or coal holder...plus 100 or so cheaper than the performer.

The performer for the above pic post is 299. I was debating last week, and just ordered a blue OTG instead that will be in this week. The performer is worth the price but..just didnt want to spend 300

Gotta love Craigslist. My favorite search there is "Weber", but in these here parts you get a lot of surf boards on the hit list. Also get pianos and car parts (carbs I think).

Sweet deal! You will be happy with the it, regardless of the well documented fact that the Reds get up to temp faster, hold temps longer, and produce far superior tasting food. But never undersetimate the the power of the SWEET BLUE!

Now go out and get a Blue Superfast Thermopen!!

I have no need to the OK Joes barrel grill now that I have the cool blue Weber Platinum.

The ring sits on top where the lid would be. It is for the rottiserie attachment. I need one too. But I will probably get the one for my chargriller:wink:

It is a Weber rotisserie ring and they only come in Black, which does not affect overall performance in any way!

i just bought a once used Bandera the other day from craigslist and love it. Have only used it once but cant wait to keep practicing. This is the first time i have used craigslist but am already looking for another smoker. I have never used a OK Joe. How well do the smoke?

KCB, you are correct. It was on OU812 I believe.

Ashmont, you could be correct. I wasn't a Sabbath/BOC fan.

And I get credit for a quality post. SWEET!
