I have not been able to find them in the stores for a while. Dont seem to popular. Have looked online to no luck. but, I have a recipe if you want to make them. Let me know I will get it.

Those are the EXACT ones I used to get around here in the stores. Never could remember the name of them. Gonna get me some also. They are great.

What the heck are they and what do you do with them? I assume they taste good if you're looking so hard for them.

my Grandma used to make watermelon rind preserves, damn they were good.

Actually Clint I've never even had them :eek: Was looking for some recipes for appetizers and ran across one that you wrap them in bacon and smoke for about 30 minutes. They are just pickled watermelon rind and you know bacon makes everything better!

They are a sweet pickle. I have them with just about anything you would eat sweet pickles with. Put them on relish trays. I am going to try the bacon wrapping after I order some.

When I want Watermelon rind Pickles, I just aks my Mommy and she makes them for me. My son, kinda likes them too.

When I was a kid....I was always told not to eat the rind...it would give you a belly ache.....I guess pickled stuff is different:confused:

Iv'e also have seen them sold here....never tried them myself but love some "hard to find items they sell"
