A lady brought a snack to the party I was attending.

Lil smokies wrapped in bacon, dusted with brown sugar, then baked in the oven til the bacon was crispy. They were very good.

Kinda like pig candy taken to the next level.

Wish I had thought of that combination cause now I will have to add that to my list of things to try in the smoker.

Ain't it amazing how versatile bacon is! Those sound killer!!!

We had a lady that brought in bacon wrapped water chestnuts that she cooked pretty much the way you described with the smokies! They rocked!! I'm gonna give both the lil' smokies and the water chestnuts a try once I am satisfied my diet is going in the right direction!

We also make the bacon wrapped water chestnuts. Also bacon wrapped dates. I know it may sound a little wierd, but they're great. Everyone loves them.
