Those are, yes, BEAR CLAWS and they are available at Cabela's, The Sports Authority, Academy Sports and many other sporting goods stores. They are designed to do just that, shred meat like a bear!

Well you old redneck I loved it and the family loved the Q.
Had a little trouble with the temp due to the cold wind, it was about 25 degrees that day and windy. Just about the normal temp you cook in right???

Typical 25 degrees C. Went to other house and passed through a rest stop and truck thermometer read 23 F. Not used to that!

Hell the way you mass produce them chain and locks would cost more. Then again with the custom paint job, wonder how much your homeowners insurance would pay? Original BDS @ $400
Did you get a chance to use the one on Deer lease?

yep, I sure did!! The pork butts were devoured. The next day they handed me a couple racks of spares and ask me to fire it up again. LOL I had nothin as far as rub so we raided a couple of spice cabinets in the campers. A little salt, pepper lord knows what else plus some brown sugar. I had to keep 'em from eatin the bones. My Uncle has it now and has smoke a mess of Pheasant that he said turned out really good.
Guess who is cookin next season.
