Butts when I woke up, 165-170 foiled them.

Then got large (gallon?) can of B&M to make Keri C beans. Boy does the volume grow when adding ingredients. Also 2 of those Snickers apples.

The noise you hear at end of video is fan kicking in.

Note to self, wear gloves when dealing with Japs, a lesson that keeps repeating itself. Will learn someday, probably not.

Beans are Keri C beans. Apple thing was a wing it. Someone mentioned Dr BBq had recipe in his book but couldn't find it. Just hollowed out apple, broke Snikers in half, shoved in side and sprinkled with brown sugar. Threw on smoker for about hour.

Keri's Hog-Apple Baked Beans

3 or 4 slices bacon, diced
2 (27 oz) cans Bush's Baked Beans
1/2 c. Blues Hog BBQ Sauce (or other sweet-spicy favorite)
1 lb. smoked leftover smoked pork or beef, more or less, or 1 lb crumbled cooked pork sausage (a maple fattie is good)
1 can apple pie filling, pieces somewhat chopped up
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. Mustard (prepared)
1 tsp chipotle or cayenne powder (optional, to taste*)
1 tsp Blues Hog barbecue rub (or your favorite de jour)

Brown bacon, and saute onion and green pepper in bacon grease. Mix in remaining ingredients. Bake at 325º for 1 hour, or simmer on stovetop in large pot for 30 minutes if you don't have time to do them in the oven. Serves 12.

She took contact paper (shelf lining paper, low adhesive), stuck it on, drew flames, cut with razor blade, sprayed and layered paint. Pretty good job for a 14 year old girl! She did something for a friend on a flat surface and came out even better. Had a little trouble smoothing paper over bulge rings on drum.
