No dove populations sufficient to be cause for a shoot, so I got a wild hare you know where yesterday morning and decided to get Lucille all fired up abd burn some pig meat.

Here are a few pix and comments (I'm still new here, is sarcasm allowed?).

There were supposed to be some "finished goods" pix, but Mr Coors got in the way and made us forget.

nothing but bony pig meat and bacon today

There's just something sexy about a nice hickory fire

Oops, don't forget about the yardbird and the taters!

This is probably the only place where I can show off my new calibratible Ashcroft thermo and have it be appreciated

My pit boys, and unfortunately the posterity of Q around here:eek:

Not many pix, and I'm not much of a photographer, but I thought some might enjoy.

Q looks good and the pit is purdy too.

Why unfortunately - are they trying to take your place too soon or do they not really want to play?

Folks, Lucille is hot, and cranks out some FINE Q. I've been there and done it. We helped break her in a few weeks back.
I'm here to say we ate like kings at the SmokyOkie ranch. Brisket, NY strip loin, pork crown rib roast...........we even smoked some SPAM. Made excellent smoked SPAM kabobs.

The kabobs were the greatest Mike. True Hawaiian table fare!

The mention made me think back to the smoked brisket hash and fatty gravy.
