That's the same as the one I've been using for about 4 years... it works great and that is about the same price I paid for mine!

Got one and let me tell ya, it sounds like a mini jet engine with afterburners engaged. Oh and for the price it is a good deal.

I saw that, there's one in Terre Haute, IN too. Both are just far enough away to not make it worth the trip, but I will be looking them up next time I'm that direction.

That's a good price and I'll bet that throttle thing is fun, but I like the ones with a long barrel. They keep the fire out of arms way.

I've been wanting one of these for a while. It's got to make it a lot easier to start the fire in the Lang.

I've got a much longer handled one as well, but the HF model is mucho easier to maneuver aroung the pits when I'm burning crud off of the cooking grates etc...

If you happen on an old one with old style valve take it to walmart and do a tank trade. It cost @ $16. They are not supposed to accept old valves but I play stupid and guess it's a little smarter than average employee. Fire good

Spend an extra $5 and get the Piezo starter, you'll be glad you did!

can someone point a link to the adaptor needed to run one off a "small" tank... rather than off a 20lb'er?

I think I'd consider trying one if I knew I didn't have to lug that tank with me places...

I don't know if this is what everyone else is using, but this is what the guy at Harbor Freight sold me.

Good, looks like I bought the right thing. Nice to know that I can use the adapter to refill small propane bottles off a 5-gal. I believe I paid $14 (on sale right now at Harbor Freight).
