I currently own a BWS but am thinking about buying a CTO. Does anyone have an opinion on the CTO?

i have a BWS Party and I am very pleased with performance & especially customer service from Mike McGowan the owner. He always takes my calls and usually has a solution to any problems the arise, he is a real gentleman. I have no idea what a CTO is so you are on your own here. Good Luck.

I love my Gator but something about the Ole Hickory CTO makes me weak in the knees.

Joe, you're checking out all kinds of smokers to replace the Gator. Is the Lang going to be up for sale too?

No Bobby, we are keeping the Lang. It's a good smoker it actually belongs to my BBQ partner. I just want to make sure if I spend what I think I might be spending on a new pit then I want to make sure it's worth it. I am not familar with the Spicewine and have not personally used a CTO, I know what a BWS can do so I just want to compare.

Check out the spice wine!

For the less money you can get a trailer rig. And you don't have to pay for shipping!

I can't speak to a CTO or a Backwoods
but I can tell you that a Spicewine is great.

I would only make one change to my Spicewine.
I would make it a trailer model so it would transport more easily.

I picked up a EL/EDx from Ole Hickory about a month ago, have been very happy with the product. Ole Hickory are commercial units meet health dept regs for resturant and vending needs. CTO is a very nice cooker.

That's a whole lotta hardware! I think I'm too surly an individual to have enough friends to need it...
