Wasn’t disappointed in the 30# Bag for $20 at Sam’s Club. Only “other than charcoal” items in bag were 3 strings. The coals burned hot when grilling and acceptably long when smoking. Used the coals in 4 Cookers. Offset, drum, SOB and ceramic. Aroma was pleasant whether big or small pieces, smoke at startup and while cooking was thin lighting either by chimney or Royal Oak Tumblweeds.
Will I buy another bag of Frontier? Probably, but no rush. I prefer to wrangle smaller bags under or equal 20#. Moving on to my stash of Fogo, Blues Hog, Jealous Devil And my usual backup B&B.
