It's time to get a sign for my BBQ Command Center, so I'm throwing out a poll to get the brethren's opinions about what it should say.

Outlaw BBQ

I'm glad to see some brethren more creative than me.

My wife got home and decided. "I like Outlaw BBQ but it needs to say something about the years we lived in South Dakota. Uh, Wild Bill's BBQ."

Done.

You mean you asked us BEFORE you asked your wife? How's your singing voice partner?

No one will ever top "Big Mista's Mornin' Wood".

Just FYI and all kidding aside, Where I live There is only one place that serves real BBQ for folks that like BBQ. He only has 4 tables in the place and he's been rocking for over 40 years here. Simple name and consistently great product. Sides are perfect, everything. Papa sounds like him and I asked to meet him one time. He was "busy in the back" and that's it. Still the best of what I've found in 64 years in this city.

On edit it's called Jack' Bar-B-Cue.

From one musician to another. How about “Adagio Q”?

The few really good bbq places by me don't have fancy names either. The cue does the selling.

The best I ever had was “Mr. Guy” who was a retired chef who sold soul food out of his kitchen one or two nights a week back in the 70s and 80s. His food is still what that I compare all other bbq/soul food to even to this day.

For inspiration I offer you a 2005 list of San Diego's Mission Beach "Over-The_line" team names.

https://www.bdoutdoors.com/forums/threads/best-otl-team-names-this-year.24971/

Warning: Do not open that link if you are of a sensitive nature.

For some background info:

That one is safe even for those who swoon mightily.

Again, this is for inspiration.

Carry on.

How about Dead Man's Hand Barbecue? You can honor Wild Bill and have a butt kicking name.
Your sign could display the hand he was rumored to be holding.

I heard all of that stuff and more fifty years ago in eighth grade. These days people seem to stay in junior high forever.

Yes, but this is a forum where broken threads can flourish and thrive!

I'm passing along all these ideas to the boss, but I think she and my daughter-in-law might have ordered something already.

I voted other but only for a slight change. I'd eliminate the space between the first two words in "GrillBilly's BBQ" but maybe that's just me.
