8-day, on the low-salt/sugar end of Pop's brine. All brown sugar, more than a few pasillas and a lot of black pepper

Pasta salad was just free macaroni, tomatoes, and green onions from yesterday's produce box; good red vinegar and fancy gremolata milanese EVOO. Also I ate about half a watermelon.

All fruits ive tried with miso/gochujang work REAL well, especially if you like heat.


Made a seasoned soy (more strawberry jelly, miso gochujang, sesame oil, garlic) dipping sauce, but it sure didnt need it tonight. Will make for slightly different/exciting sticky-rib-esque leftovers tomorrow, though!
