Tried something new to me...
A whole chicken, marinated overnight in pickle juice, then dusted in Spiceology Tandoori Glory,

The second new to me was chicken thighs, marinated overnight with a shawarma paste,

Didn’t take into account the amount of juice there would be, should have put them in two pans.

The taste was great for both, I preferred the shawarma thighs. The pickle juice made the whole chicken really juicy, but the tandoori spices were too much like curry, of which, I’m not a fan.

I like wings marinated in pickle juice.... never tried a bird. It's also good when misted on beef roasts or beef ribs.

They both look really good but, I am partial to shwarma too and definitely not a pickle guy

With only marinating it overnight, the pickle taste cooks out while leaving the meat juicy.

I did the thanksgiving bird with pickle juice for 3 days, no pickle flavor.
