Any opinions on these? Tried to search the form but said I didn’t have access. There’s a Facebook group and everyone there raves about them, but I’m thinking that’s because everyone there owns one. Pros vs cons?

Thanks

Look for the “enhanced by Google “ search box and enter G2 Chubby then click on magnifying glass.

You may also want to check out the Humphries weekender, very similar to the Chubby G2 but has stainless steel door and waterproof insulation to prevent rusting from the inside out.
I called the St. Louis BBQ store and they were very helpful as they sell both Backwoods and Humphries smokers.

Looked into it when purchasing an IVS. Between Backwoods, TK, LSG, and Humphreys I had a real struggle on choosing. All of them had rally good offerings for similar price points. Ended up going to Humphreys for one reason or another. Probably would have been happy with the G2 just the same.

I have one and like it. I have not used it in over a year now. I would sell it if you are interested.

If I was forced to choose one and sell the rest - I'd keep the Chubby (G1) and sell the Competitor (G1), WSM18, WSM22. But the 26 kettle is not part of this negotiation, lol.

I have the chubby g2. It's simple to use and cleans up easy. I run the fireboard with a pit viper fan and can hold anywhere between 225°F and 300°F wet or dry. Most important, it's a rib machine and cooks a fantastic brisket. Really can't go wrong with this cooker.
