Bought a bag for 4.99 just to try. If it's going to go on sale for the 4th I would look for it to happen today or tomorrow.

talked to the store manager, he said they usually have a flyer just for the 4th weekend, that specializes in "grilling", should come out in either the sat or sun. paper? at least you guys got, the Hawaii shipment didn't come in until after Memorial day, and they didn't have to honor the 2.99 price!

I did not like my experience with Rancher Charcoal. Burns okay, but you get alot of white ash which coats everything badley. Also 75% of the briquettes crumble after only one burn in my Weber Kettle.

I usually work with Kingsford and can get 75% of the briquettes to make a second burn. I much prefer Kingsford, is a greatly superior product.

KC_Bobby

I noticed the ash too. I'll only be using at home mixed in with lump on long cooks where I don't have to open the doors which stur up the ash.

Hum.... Thus far I've had pretty good results with Rancher. I've found it to burn a bit hotter than Kingsford and maybe not as long, but with a lot less ash. I have not experienced any floating ash getting on the food. It also doesn't have the ammonia smell when lighting like Kingsford.

When Kingsford changed to the new faster lighting stuff, I found a great deal on Royal Oak Charcoal and have been using that, also with great results. Although there is quite a bit of ash build up with the RO.

I've got a lot of Rancher left to burn, I hope I my experience with the first 7 bags ain't a fluke!

I have been thru about 6 bags of Rancher not counting what we used at the Bash and at BBS' house. I haven't experienced the flying ash either. Is that in your Bandera or just the kettle?

I've checked around the Tulsa area, and most of the Home Depots are out of Rancher. They tell me that it was a one-time shipment arranged by the buyer at the head office.

Today I talked to a Mr Krause at the Original Charcoal Company, and he verified that the Home Depot thing was a one-time shot. Evidently Kingsford makes lots of concessions for HD.

Anyone up for a barrage of e-mail to HD asking them to carry Original Rancher?

I too bought over 30 bags of it when it was on sale for $2.99. My local HD still has it in stock for $4.99. Looks like they have a lot more than they did...

I hope they continue to stock it!

I have been experiencing the same thing in the Kansas City area HD's. I'm always up for a good email campaign. Here is my email response from Mr. Krause received Mon. 7-16-07 about the availability of Rancher and suggestions for getting at your HD.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Chad,
Our product is, or at least was in 100% of the HD's across the country.

Home Depot is currently carrying our RANCHER briquette. Please see the
below e-note.
Our Home Depot SKU # is 990-347. If your local store is out, it is
possible that others in the area may still have stock. Also, I would bet
that if you expressed enough interest, the store manager could locate some
and have it brought to your store. I have requested this of HD managers in
the past, and have almost always been satisfied. Additionally, you will be
helping them clear space for a new product to go into our RANCHER space.
Also, give a shout to HD at www.homedepot.com. "Contacts" is at the
bottom. I am sure that they would love to hear from you.

Again, thank you for your interest and support!
Eric

I mentioned on another thread the "swirling ash" I noted when I cooked on 2 of my UDS's yesterday. Well this afternoon I went to move the drums under cover and noticed ash had covered part an area on the lids around the vent (Weber lids) but the drum I used Kingsford in had not. The intakes were all closed on them, it just seemed odd. I'm still not knocking Rancher, but just wondering if anyone else is concerned about comp meats and the ash, since I saw quite a few bags at the Lincoln City comp. I did not notice it when I used it in my Kamado, and had not seen it using it in a WSM. It could have been caused by fats dripping on the coals, but others have noticed it and mentioned it before I paid any attention to it.

Picked up 10 bags last week at the 4.99 price, used it at Leesport. I thought it had less ash then RO briquets, way less than Kingscrap. Put 40lbs and a couple logs in my MC at 7:30pm, at 3:00am I still had a good bed of coals and added a few more logs. Put in 20 lbs more 7:00am, that lasted the rest of the cook. I thought it was pretty good stuff, so I went and bought a whole pallet (60 Bags) at the 2.99 price today. Stashed 50 bags in my warehouse, got 10 at home, I'm set for a long time!

Hey all,
Got this message from the makers of Rancher in my e-mail today. Thought I'd share:
The Original Charcoal Company
July 27, 2008Dear RANCHER charcoal supporters!

Thank you for the fantastic interest and support that you have all shown!
Tremendous Success at Home Depot !!!
Thanks to your support, The Original Charcoal Company's RANCHER charcoal took 15% of the competitor's sales! Further, approximately a 1/4 of a million units sold during the five day Memorial Day weekend! Truly phenominal results. Thank you.

All-natural RANCHER briquette is still available in pockets of the country. If you are out in your local Home Depot, please ask your store manager to locate available RANCHER briquette in the other HD stores, and have the manager ship it to your local store. I have made this request on other items, and am almost always satisfied. You will be helping out HD as well, as this will make room for them to put in another item in our spot. OUR SKU #:990-347.

INTERESTINGLY, despite this success, HD is hesitating to put the all-natural RANCHER in their regular line-up. Your continued support may get them off the fence. PLEASE send a note to HD through their website at www.homedepot.com (http://javascript<b></b>:ol('http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?t%3dp8atzccab.0.8w5uzccab.wjhaj4bab.364%26t s%3dS0268%26p%3dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.homedepot.c om%252F');). At the bottom of the Home pasge is "contacts". Tell them that you want this product. AND ask you friends to to the same.

-15% of competitor's sales
-250,000 units purchased in five days
-Talk to your store manager for product in other stores
- Write to HD and demand the RANCHER hardwood briquette
-Spread the word

We are thrilled at your great response, and that we can provide such a fantastic product to you. PLEASE HELP US TO CONTINUE TO DO SO. WRITE TO HOME DEPOT.
Thank you for your continued loyal and thoughtful support! We will keep you updated on YOUR success at Home Depot and elsewhere.
Enjoy the day,

To Whom It May Concern:

I have been informed by friends and colleagues that Home Depot will discontinue to carry Rancher Orignal Charcoal. If true, I for one do not understand why your company would do this as this product purportedly produced 15% of your sales during the four day Memorial Day Weekend.

Moreover, I have personally purchased more than 40 bags of this charcoal and have begun to use it in my BBQ business and love it.
It is also my understanding that this product is the talk of the town on both the internet BBQ communities and the BBQ competition circuit.
Therefore, I think this product is of value to both Home Depot and your customer base.

Thanks for your consideration and I eagerly await your response,

Sincerely,
Stephan Franklin

Comments: Hello,
My name is Neil Strawder and I represent several thousand Barbecue
Enthusiasts who love a product you sell called Original Rancher Charcoal
Briquettes. I buy it 200lbs at a time and several members of our group
buy it by the pallet.

We are all a bit disappointed to learn that you will not be keeping
Original Rancher Charcoal as a regular product. We are all very pleased
with its performance and have been using it on a regular basis since it
became available in your stores. The people in our group use it in
restaurants, catering businesses, and in the Barbecue contests that you
see on TV.

We urge you to visit our website (http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum (http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/../forum)) and look at the glowing reviews that this product receives and the praise
Home Depot gets for carrying it.

I hope you won't alienate all of these customers by discontinuing
this product.

Please forward a copy of the message to your product manager also.

Thank you for your time.

To Whom it May Concern:

I have been using a wonderful product I had been buying at HD this summer. It is Rancher All Natural Charcoal from the Original Charcoal Co. It is my understanding from the employees at the Belton, MO and a couple Kansas City area stores that this product was a one shot deal and they can't re-stock it. I am writing this to ask you to please reconsider and stock the Rancher Charcoal in the Home Depot chain. Also, remember that some of us BBQ year round and therefore need to buy charcoal more than just Spring and Summer.

Thank you for your time and please keep Rancher on your shelves!!!

Regards,Chad M. Anders

P.S. I know to a chain your size it's not important, but I bought 15 bags of Rancher a couple days ago in case you decide to drop it.There is a demand out here for the product. Please, keep it in your stores!

Doing my first cook with the rancher today. So far so good - I really like it in fact. Seems to ignite very clean, and ash seems minimal. There is MINOR sparking - certainly less than with any straight lump I have ever used. It does seem to burn a little quick though, but may be too early to tell.

Yesterday I went back and cleared out the last 5 straggler bags they had, after purchasing 10 bags earlier in the week.

I DO wonder, however, how much we would all be loving the Rancher at 6 bucks a bag. Imploring HD to carry the stuff is one thing, but expecting they would do it long term for 2.99 a bag is another.

So, my question, for those of you that have been using Rancher regularly, what is your standard price point per 20# bag?

I would be happy with it at $6 - $7 a bag, before the Rancher deal came around I was using Royal Oak lump & paying $6 for a 10 lb. bag. And you know that if the standard price was $7/bag they would still run it on sale a couple of times a year when we could all stock up.

Did a little burn test Saturday comparing Rancher and RO Lump.
They both burned just about the same amount of time. The Rancher did have about 4 times the ash. But, at $2.99 compared to $7.69 (RO Lump) I think the Rancher is a pretty good charcoal and CHEAP.
I went out and bought another 20 bags of Rancher!!!

Used some Rancher yesterday for the first time. 2 racks/slabs of ribs and 2 fatties. Used Oak wood. The thing I noticed is that it seems to have no odor whatsoever when burning. And it did seem to shoot a few sparks out of the damper on the firebox, something I've never seen before with wood or Kingsford.

I have used it and found it to be an excellent quality charcoal, as havemany of my BBQ friends. I have since come to learn that Home Depot might not continue to carry this brand. That would be unfortuante because it is a quality product at a reasonable price.

Dear Mr. Blake,

As Chairman and CEO of The Home Depot, I thought that you should know that you company's customer support staff are expeditious at sending out form emails, whether or not form email addresses the issue at hand. In my case it did not, and I personally know of others that received the exact same email in relation to the exact same issue.

In my opinion, at times a company would be better off not responding at all, than sending responses that exhibit a complete lack of understanding of what is being reponded to, but it would be far better to address customer issues head on.

For what it's worth, below is the email correspondence about my concern the The Home Depot may not continue to carry Rancher All Natural Charcoal, made by The Original Charcoal Co.

The best part right now, is that I am sitting here grinning, knowing full well that managers down the line are getting smacked in the head in a hierarchal regression until it gets down to the individual that can actually answer the question of whether or not they will continue to carry Rancher.

Plus, when the CEO wants to know if they will be continuing to carry Rancher, lots of rapid second guessing on the decision will happen before the answer goes back.

At that point the answer will get passed hastily back up the ladder until it reaches Mr. Blake, or one of his assistants, because when the CEO (or an assistant under his name) tells a customer that they will get back to him, you can bet your @$$ that many people's lives will be miserable until that happens.

Been there, experienced that!

And I wouldn't want to be the person responsible for training their email team either!

They have sold just about every pallet they have of this stuff. Sounds to me they are hiding behind the phrase "sales expectations."

Or perhaps I am just baffled how this product is not beneficial to both HD and us. Just makes it seem they are in bed with Kingsford.

Perhaps spin isn't the right word! I am just disappointed this impacts my business' bottomline!

I will have to send Home Depot a letter letting them know that the ONLY reason I purchased paint, rollers, a tarp, and other supplies at Home Depot was because they had the Rancher charcoal. I had planned on going to Lowes, and went with HD because I could get two things in one stop. No Rancher, then my business would have gone elsewhere.

Like I tried to say earlier, HD can not sell this product for 3 bucks a bag.

Whether or not sales could be sustained at 6 or 7 is and always was the real question. According to HD, the answer was no.

I understand perfectly well being dissapointed, and even deciding to take your charcoal (and other) business elsewhere, but I don't really undertstand how anybody expected this to be a long term position for HD.

(The customer service errors are another matter, but have been quickly addressed.)

Just one guy's opinion.

On edit: And for the record I too wish they would still carry it at 3, 4, 5 or 6 bucks a bag. But respect their business decision not to.

I just sent this to the CEO and the VP.

Hello Mr. Blake,

My name is Neil Strawder and I represent a growing number of BBQ enthusiasts who have grown fond of a product that you are selling. That product is Original Rancher Hardwood Charcoal Briquettes.

Our group is pleased with the performance of this product and we buy it whenever we can find it in your stores. I buy 200 lbs. at a time, but several members of our group buy it by the pallet. We discuss it quite often on the internet and we have been praising Home Depot for carrying a great product at a great price.

We are quite disappointed to discover that Home Depot will not continue to carry Original Rancher Hardwood Charcoal Briquettes. Several of us use it in our businesses and we all buy other items when we are in your stores.

Our group is made up of several thousand Restaurant Owners, Caterers, Competitive BBQ Teams and BBQ Enthusiasts. We have members in every state who frequent your stores just for this product. You are welcome to visit one of our websites to participate in our conversations about Rancher Charcoal. The website address is: http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum (http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum) .

We have tried to express our concerns thru your customer service department and your consumer affairs department but the only type of response we get is a form letter that is totally unrelated to the content of our emails.

I hope you will not alientate such a large group of consumer by discontinuing this product line.

I am available to talk if you are interested in more details of this situation.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response!

Here is the response I received:

Hello Mr Strawder,

I apologize for your frustrations in getting a "real" response to your concerns. I will forward your support of the Original Rancher Hardwood Charcoal Briquettes to our merchants who make purchasing decisions.

This brand was purchased as a "special buy" and did not exceed expectations on sales, so the decision was made not to repeat the purchase.

I appreciate your passion, and your patronage at our stores.

The way things went last winter, the couple HD's/Lowes around me didn't even have any Kingsford in stock during the Holidaze, I was scrambling around trying to find anything, same with lump, All the managers I talked to said it's seasonal now! "Who barbecues in the Winter?" I heard numerous big box employees as they searched the aisles looking for the last remaining bags of charcoal! Farkem'! I vowed not to let it happen again.

Someone was in contact with Rancher concerning this issue. I wonder what their thoughts are on the "didn't meet expectations" comment. Having spent many years in retail management I believe the vendor (Rancher) and HD both knew what the expectations were.

It would be interesting to know if Rancher thinks expectations were met.

Can visitors to the forum see this thread? It would be fun to forward to Lowes and Wally World and ask them to view our passion.

Well in the 3 Home Depots I have gone to around here for it, it was not once with the BBQ or outdoors supplies, it wasn't near the Kingsford, it was always off on it's own. At on of the stores it was at the end of a rack in the paint department & of course when I asked where the Rancher charcoal was the employee had no clue & had to call a manager, I found it on my own before he got an answer. So it's no wonder it did not meet expectations, unless you're a charcoal geek like us who knows what we were looking for you would never have found it to buy it.

This was my experience as well.
It was on an end cap in front of the power tools.
There was only 3 bags and I had called that morning and they said they had 88 bags on hand. When I asked where the other 85 bags were they just gave me a blank look and told me that they must have sold it all in 6 hours. The inventory still said 88 bags so I asked to see a manager and SUDDENLY a whole farking pallet was found OVERHEAD in the PLUMBING section!!

Gee, ya think?

What is the spin?

They said that they did a "special buy" and are not repeating it.

Sounds pretty direct to me, with no sugar coating.

Tim,

The spin is what they are leaving out.

They didn't make an honest effort to sell it.

If a new dairy company makes a deal with a grocery store to sell their brand of milk and the store manager puts it in a cooler on the opposite side of the store in the floral deptartment and keeps the current company's milk in the dairy isle where it always has been, do you think the new brand will sell?

The store manager then tells the new dairy company that the sales didn't meet expectations.

The store manager most likely recieved something from the current dairy company in return for making the new product inaccessable to the public.

I see $$$$$$$ going from Kingsford to HD for this "favor".

Whatever the case, having charcoal over head in the plumbing isle is not my idea of the proper area to sell it.

I'm not trying to knock HD here, I actually shop there regularly & have no real complaints with the store (9 times out of 10 they have what I need), but I always know what I'm looking for & rarely need to ask for help or advise. In the 3 stores that I can get to easily here not one of them had the Rancher by the bbq's or the kingsford charcoal, so if I did not know what I wanted & I just ran in to get some charcoal I would never have seen the Rancher so I would not have walked out with 800 lbs.

The Madison HD I went to was much the same. Kingsford (ptooooey!)
was prominently displayed, and the Rancher was tucked just inside the entry door. I spied a guy carrying a bag of Kingsford (ptooooey!) and turned him on to the Rancher instead, as it was 1/2 the price of the Kingsford (ptooooey!).
Last night I spoke to a guy who runs a Save-A-Lot grocery store. He said companies like Kingsford (ptooooey!), Tombstone, etc... will buy display/freezer/shelf space so that their product will get the most exposure. I'm sure HD is the same way, and Kingsford (ptooooey!) pays a premium to have their stuff easily seen.

I then told him about this group & the enthusiasum we have for this product & how we all use it (comps, catering, ect) & how many of you contacted the CEO because HD has no plans to carry this in the future, I also let him know that most if not all of us prefer this product over Kingsford, and if in fact the HD does no longer carry Rancher when my supply runs out I will be going back to Royal Oak Lump which HD does not carry either or try to find another supplier of this product. I told him for instance if Lowes started carrying Rancher that I would most likely go there for all my other needs as well

He seemed interested in what I had to say & thanked me for my input & he told me he would also look into it some more.

Here is the email I just sent to the President and COE of HD:

Dear Mr. Blake,

As the President and CEO of such a major corporation such as Home Depot I am sure you have much more pressing matters than a bunch of us BBQ fanatics and some charcoal. However, as a very minor stockholder (about 5000 shares but I do add $200 per month in dollar cost averaging and will continue to do so), I wanted to voice a concern over something that I have read in many of the responses from yourself and others in the customer service department.

It has been stated in various ways that the sales of this product did not meet Home Depots expectations. By no means do I know the business you are in but trust you do. That is one of the reasons I continue to support HD with my purchases at the stores and by buying the stock on a monthly basis. However, I also know from reading many online posts as people tried to find this product that the merchandizing was inconsistent at best. At times it was found on a pallet above the paint section, at times it was found by the construction sales area, at times it was found in the area near the door past the check-out area, at times it was found in the garden area well removed from the grilling/seasonal items. I am also sure that the discount sales of the product at $2.99 per bag limited the profitability of the item. I just feel like with a better merchandizing strategy this product would have contributed more to the bottom line.

After saying all of that I will also say I am writing this because I believe this is a much better product than most of its competitors and certainly better than the others offered at HD. Another of the reasons HD is my personal choice for where to shop and a reason I decided to buy its stock is that I believe it offers top quality items at a fair price. The price of this item was much lower than its quality would support. I would much rather pay $8.99 for a bag of Rancher than I would $8.99 for a bag of Kingsford (and I was a Kingsford user for many years).

I am not sure if there is any way to reconsider HD's partnership in carrying this product. Rest assured, that if HD does reconsider and has it next year, many of us will support your decision and continue buying it even if the price is higher.

Please do not take the time to respond. I know you have much more important things to do.

Respectfully,

Brent London

Had $5.00 in my pocket on my way to the post office. Stoped off at the local HD on my way. Found 3 bags @ 2.99 each. 1 bags had wholes in them and no way to tell if they were missing any charcoal. Snagged the last bag (kept credit card in wallet for a change). Told the cashier in the garden dept, about the other two bags with wholes. She appologized like it was her fault. The guy behind me put his garden hose down, and went to go get the last two bags.

lots of "floating"white ash (wont use it with my Guru 's)

ashes over quickly
burns hotter
burns maybe a little longer.
breaks apart , easily because of the binder.
NOT as good as a real lump charcoal.

I have been having a very different experince than you it seems. I have been using the Rancher with a Guru, and have not had any problems with floating ash. I have found that the Rancher burns a little longer than most lump that I have used. One thing that did surprise me was that after I closed all the vents, and finally got the fire out, the Rancher was not broken apart. I have a lot of much smaller, greyer, briquettes.

Until I bought the Rancher I had been using Wicked Good, and Basque exclusively. I would say the Rancher is s slight step down from these two. From my observations of Kingsford it seems to last longer, and holds together better. When the Rancher is gone I will go back to the Wicked Good and Basque.

Thank you Gnome for validating my own experiences with Rancher! Someone else had mentioned the "floating ash syndrome" but I didn't pay any attention to it until I was doing a big cook on my drums, it was very obvious! Over the Memorial Day weekend sale I bought 60 bags so I didn't jump on the wagon this time around. At first I thought it was the greatest and even at $4.99 a bag it would be a deal compared to Kingsford briqs! I won't use it in my Kamado, because it creates so much ash you have to clean it out after each use, and the spent briqs do just crumble and don't re-light (unheard of in a Kamado) I've heard BGE users complain of the ash buildup also. Guru's and Stokers most likely stir the ash ash would fats dripping on the coals from the drums.

On the other hand, I've used it in the WSM's for short @6 hr cooks and not noticed any swirling ash, but when I hear of people smacking the legs to drop the ash on long cooks, I think I'd be concerned about the ash getting on the meats.

I've got 51 bags left, it should last awhile, but I'll be mixing it with K or lump!

Hi,

I thought that I should point out that Home Depot may have never had any intention of ever selling Rancher again. They often purchase products made by a 'new' company to scare and leverage a long time supplier. I wouldn't be surprised if the order went in to buy the Rancher after Kingsford refused to acquiesce on a particular matter.

BTW, I used to work in regional management for Home Depot on Long Island.

Has anyone asked the manufacturer or Rancher if they deal with any other nationwide chains?

There you go man, hey not sure if you got my pm but I'll split up my Rancher inventory if you strike out there.

Hi, my name is Tim and I'm a charcoalholic. Although I had 380# in my garage, I had to stop by HD on the way home tonight, and bought another 200# just because they had it!

If any LI Brethren are looking for some, HD on Sunrise in Bay Shore has at least the better part of a pallet. And this seems to be a new pallet, because when I bought 200# last week there was significanlty less on the pallet than today, so I have no idea how much more they may have stashed someplace.

Here in Suffolk county, L.I. as least as far as I can tell, HD Commack is still semi-flush.

Yes Papa, you need help.
I have opened one bag of Rancher, and have done 3 high temp grills and one low and slow on the WSM. Still have over 1/4 of the bag.

Also still have 20 bags in the rafters of the garage (undetected as of yet by the SoDT), 6 bags of RO lump, and a big bag of B&B lump. I'm likely covered, at least for the summer.

Just a little non-scientific research on my part: I found that the briquettes I cooked low and slow over in the WSM crumbled very easily after use, where the briqs I used in high-temp grilling maintained their integrity.

BTW an fyi for my HB brethern our local Walmart now has Royal Oak in stock for $5.30 a 20LB bag. I actually prefer R/O over the Rancher myself.

Hey Country did you score anymore Rancher over at the Santa ana H.D.?

Just bought 15 bags at the HD in East Windsor, NJ. That is all that I could fit in my car. Going back tomorrow for some more. They have 3 pallets left, stacked 3 feet high or so, inside the first door at the main entrance. :-D

I might have to go and check my local HD's for a couple of more bags. I picked up 10 bags a while back and have been using it pretty steadily...I like it. I used it in 2 WSM's at a comp and probably only used 25 pounds or so to run 1 WSM's @ 225-250 for about 18-20 hours. great stuff if you asked me. Plus with the price of kingsford in my area it is a no brainer. Hell I think that 1 18pound bag of kingsford is more than $8 at my local kroger.

Even at Sam's 44 pounds is nearly $14 when I got 40 pounds for $6. you cant beat that...I also like that it is 100% hardwood.

I did grill on it for the first time the other night and did notice the crumbling leftover thing, but I just tossed it all into my chimney and lit it up and it seemed to burn just fine.

Overall I will be picking up more of this stuff and I know of atleast 2 other comp teams that are moving to it for thir charcoal needs...

I'm doing a brisket tonight using Rancher in the WSM for the 1st time. If I like it I'll buy a few more bags to add to my stockpile. It's been fine in the kettle but I do find that it ashes up more than Kingsford. Oh - by the way, $1.99# tri-tip at Ralphs right now.

Picked-up 5 bags of Rancher @ 2.99 a bag at the HD in sunny Venice FL. I was surprised because this area is mostly retired folks with huge gas grills. I have some B&B from last year and I had purchased a couple bags of RO. Any opinion as to the better, RO B&B or Rancher?

Home Depot on Katella in Orange CA still has at least a pallet of it @ $2.99 as of yesterday. I went in with a gift card to buy some plant stuff and just burned up the remaining card ballance on Rancher.

Stopped ny the Madison East HD on the way home last night. Nearly 2 full pallets at $1.99 a bag. 12 more bags in the Tercel.
May go back Saturday with the truck to get 20 more bags.
It may not be as good as lump, but at this price I can't afford not to use it.

Used less than a half bag today for an 8 hr cook, and i think at least half of it is still in the bottom of the WSM. I love the WSM and Rancher. hope i find more at 1.99. by the way, the sirlion tip roast and the fatties were great, and the butt is still in the cooller.

Going back a couple of pages to the original form letter replies. If you look at the names on the replies, you'll notice the ethnicity of them. It looks to me that HD outsources their customer service to India. At least the VP over them is here in the US.
