A chili cheese meat cake with fruit?

You better believe it

Around 20oz of meat with a little cheese and a half of an avocado, that’ll hold me for a couple days...

Hijack alert: 4ever3 have you ever used crushed pork skins for smoked meatloaf? My concern is that occasional rock hard piece in popping a crown. Any issues? Flavored or plain? I see online cooks mixing Chicharrones in Mexican dishes often

Thinking ground meat , crushed Chicharron, couple eggs, shredded mozzarella/cheddar.
Pondering
Carnivore/Keto/Paleo one has to fit

Hijack complete upon response :-D

We have, well, not in meatloaf but we did on chicken thighs for a cordon bleu...

Yer fears are confirmed.

About the time you think “hey this is alright” BAM you hit a little hard bit.

No bueno.

As fer meatloaf we no longer use any dry binder, just a couple eggs and dig in.

(high jacks welcomed in my threads)

Than You. Think Ill leave skins in the bag. Being a chipoholic I tend to speed eat and that’s not a positive with skins. I’ve been potato/corn chip free ,again, since 07-18 and, any way-thanks for taste testing and saving me a grand plus at the dentist

Did you use Fiesta to season?

4ever3

Yes sir, first time we tried it, good stuff but really low in salt so we’ll add more salt as the meat is browning. That’s not a complaint mind you, I’d rather have low salt seasoning so we can use Redmond’s .

I was wondering what "meat cake" meant, but sometimes I over think things. This gives me a new idea to try on the kids. Always looking for fun spins on dinners to keep it interesting for them.........and me.......:-D

Thanks!

Guess I'm going to have to put together a special meatcake award or banner thingy sooner rather than later at the rate you're going.

BTW, your latest would qualify as an entry in the Soups, Stews, and Chili throwdown if you want to throw yer hat in the ring.

Just sayin...

Craig,

It appears to be grated cheese. Not sure what type of grater he used to get it to ring up like that though.

Could you not run the pork rinds through a food processor or pound them in a ziploc bag then remove the larger pieces from the fines? I have seen recipes that use smashed pork rinds as a coating for fried chicken or pork chops.
