That looks wonderful, good job. It's like a lamb Osso Bucco.

Lamb and pork shanks are both under appreciated. I live in sheep country and they are almost as expensive as un-trimmed racks. If you don't mind, what was the $ per pound?

I believe they were $5.98 a pound @ Wild Fork Foods.

That plate looks great Marty. I'd love to have tried it. I have to admit guys, I can't remember the last lamb or mutton that I had. Not opposed to it, just not popular/available around here.
