Grew up on the St. Clair river. Used to do a ton of fishing (fav walleye). Sold the boat a few years ago and now missing it big time.

I'm using a ThermoWorks ThermaGuard 101. It doesn't send alerts, but my freezer is in an area that I go by several times a day and it does have an audible alarm.

There is another model called ThermaData that does connect via WiFi. I almost went this route, but figured I didn't need it. https://www.thermoworks.com/ThermaData-WiFi-Thermistor-Probes?quantity=1&logger-channel=1
