Put3 bone in breasts on the grill and 1/2 hour in I remembered I had some chicken stock I had to use so in a pan with the stock. They looked so good I had to pull on them. Never had pulled chicken before but it looks good! Kinda reminds me of when Momma used to boils a chicken to make chicken casserole but this has a smoke flavor.

Never done it on the bbq but we do pulled chicken in the crockpot that we use in burritos pretty often. Yours looks good!

I grew up in an era with “cafeteria ladies”. Those hair net wearing ladies were pretty amazing. Plate lunches looked like a buffet at grandmothers. Or Aunts or Moms. And usually were kin to someone in the student body, or multiple students. There was this one dish of bbq pulled chicken. Sandwich or stuffed baked potato. The bbq sauce was somewhat sweet but coated the chicken, not drowned in it. It looked just like yours. Damn good

That looks killer!

I do this all the time but with thighs.

Smoke the thighs at 225F, rubbed with something nice, using fruit wood.
Put them in a oven tray with some chicken stock and cover it with foil.
Back on the Q for an hour.
Pull the chicken and use some of the juices to make it extra tasty.

Yes, I too have fond (and sometimes not so fond) memories of cafeteria food! We had plenty of Cajun and Slavic moms cooking for us so we had really good food mostly, although there was some SOS at times.

Now don't shoot me but, that would sure make for an excellent taco salad.

Yes it would! But the rest is going to be smoked chicken salad wraps. Maybe next time.
