Hey everybody! This past weekend I experimented with making my own hamburger buns. Found a relatively easy recipe and they turned out amazing!

Here is a link to the video I found for the buns: https://youtu.be/gTGSUYMu6Ns

Now to the fun stuff. Just some simple burgers using the buns and some quality ground beef.

The buns cooling after baking.

Thanks for looking and if you haven't made your own buns, give these a whirl. They're excellent and will definitely be a staple for burgers in our house.

I'm not really a bread person but the bun makes or breaks a burger. Those look great :thumb:

Looks great. Love his channel. Just started a fermented hot sauce based on one of his other videos. Have been meaning to try his home made buns.

That's the exact recipe I used this week...did burgers tonight as well. By far the best best/easiest recipe for buns I have tried.

Saw this recipe the other day. Do you think these would be good for pulled pork sandwich?

They would be amazing for pulled pork. If possible, I would toast the buns. They are incredibly soft and the toasting is key.

I used for PP and works real well. It's kind of a brioche type dough...so a lil sweet and buttery. They are perfect... light enough but holds up to over filling too. Butter em and throw on a skillet or flat top..you'll be hooked.
