Every time I make smashburgers, I wonder why it's been soo long since I made smashburgers. Nothing wrong with that dinner (except the pickles), nice plate Sir!

I have never even thought of using tri tip for fresh ground burgers. Way to go!


I actually have a new grinder sitting here that I have never used, makes me want to go grab a tri tip, or maybe one of the chuck roasts I have in the freezer already. The grinder has been sitting there for like 3 years... shame on me.

Oh yeah and this has me thinking of the possibility of a Bacon Cheese Burger sandwiched between 2 Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, might just be good. :biggrin1:

Never ground TT for burger - I could see that working! I'll also give grinding fine a shot next time, as I usually grind coarse - never really thought much about it, so it's worth exploring for sure.
