Hi guys,

I had the craving for tips again tonight, really happy I found a new hook up for them, and at $39.99 for a 30 lbs box it's a pretty good deal.

Going on the BGE with apple and peach chunks:

Done, let's eat!

Now comes the fun part:

Here is what we had, home made cole slaw and mac n cheese:

Thanks for looking!

I had a pretty good day in the smoke, but you’re my hero today.
Love gristles-tips, breaks regulars (irregulars)

Those rib tips look like they were done right. The sides and basket resemble a take-out meal. Great cook!

You should try doing char sui with the tips next time. I have a killer recipe if your interested. Its just like the bbq spare rib tips you buy at chinese takeout.

Where can you buy just the tips? Thats a pretty good price.

Before Covid19 my neighborhood Walmart always had the three packs usually
8-10$ I don’t go there much anymore, but sometimes Ill dash in for a specific item. I always look. Haven’t seen them since all this started

Funny I'm going to Peoria packing Sunday morning for a 30lb box of tips. Can't beat the price

Had no idea you could by the tips. I've always just collected the parts I cut off spare ribs and when I have enough make a batch of tips. No one in my family will get near them but I think they are fantastic!

Yours are top notch!

Best part of the rib IMHO.

I enjoy tips more than ribs. Tip sections and leg quarters are my standard "might as well, cooker is already rollin'" type of make ahead eats. Around here (well, under normal circumstances) I get a 30 lb case can be had for $35, fresh or frozen). I'm just now down to my last few cuts from the last case.
