This may not belong in this section...

History... when I was growing up I always noticed this sign tucked away in the garage. This week it arrived in the mail and now I feel like I'm on an episode of American Pickers

First off, I always thought it was just a sign. However, as I discovered, it is actually a foldable table, equipped with hooks to hold utensils etc.

This sign was either my grandfather's, or even my great grandfather's. We are not sure if he made it by hand or if it was purchased. Either way, it is an awesome find.

I like it!
I like it so much I Googled it.
Lotsa options (https://www.google.com/search?q=Danger+Men+Cooking+sign&rlz=1C1CHBH_enUS779US779&oq=Danger+Men+Cooking+sign&aqs=chrome..69i57.11623j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8), but of course, none as nostalgic as yours.

Wow! Pretty valuable! (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Danger-Men-Cooking-Sign-embossed-Folding-Table-31/112991667742?hash=item1a4ed4061e:g:2ycAAOSw~O1a-KM3)

What a great find. My Grandfather was my BBQ mentor in the 60's and I have a few photos of him cooking. Do you happen to have a high resolution photo? I'd like to add that to my collection.

Oh man, that is awesome! Nice find. I treasure my grandfather's things that got passed down to me.

If I might quote Roger Creager "I've seen tears in grown men's eyes when they speak of their granddads"

Totally cool. Part of the fun finding this stuff is looking further into it. As others have said today on FB, ths one was destined for me:)

Mine were too. I have maybe a handful of photos of my grandfather's grilling, or smoking a pig. All I have is what's on my phone currently.

Me too brother. I wish that some of their other items had also been passed down.

Looks like the same piece that George Stephen himself used when doing demos of kettle cooking back in the 50s
