I vacuum-seal and freeze all the usual stuff, but what about beef short ribs? Are they still good when thawed? My family doesn’t think they’re that interested and I don’t think I can eat 8# of beef ribs solo...:hungry:

Yep. I freeze and cook short ribs all the time. No issue.

I vacuum seal beef ribs all the time. In my area you have two choices for beef ribs, you can go to the butcher and pay $9.00 a pound or go to RD any pay $4.50 a pound. The problem with RD is they sell them in packs of 20 pounds.

I work from home and it's great, however I also have to travel a lot so when I cook ribs for example I'll cook enough for three meals, I'll eat some now and freeze the rest for later (no sauce on the frozen ones) so that when I come home from a long trip I simply throw the frozen ribs in a SV bath then sauce and hit with a searzall https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L2P0KNO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
