Cranking some 70’s music. Corn was 5 ears for a buck. Fired up the Primo Oval XL with a chimney of B&B Oak lump. No added wood. Smoked-grilled and removed corn from the cob. Added lime, cilantro, cream cheese, Dukes Mayo, cochita cheese S-P and Tajin. Back into cooker till bubbly. I don’t eat much corn, didn’t eat a whole lot of this- but was really good. She smiled.

Not sure I could have waited for it to be cut off the cob.

Looks great, Adams.

I like to keep my elote handheld... but I'm strange.

If I wasn't half way through a pulled pork cook I would for sure do this... Excellent cook!!!

Hilarious. You’re normal. Just been a while since I’d used these two vintage Wagner CI skillets. The only reason I took the corn off the cob was to use the #5

If only I could convince my wife of the greatness that is elote.

Hmmm, been eating some form of grilled corn including elote or just simple street corn my entire life.... never thought of cutting it off the cob after grilling :thumb:

I could do some serious damage to those 5 ears

Your concoction looks delishious.I have had it that way,cut off and stuff added.Good eats.I would have twirled those ears in a pound of melted Kerrigold,"salted",and devoured them! Your char was Spot On!

It’s always interested me in the “cook out” game how the Side Dishes are often the star of the show.

For my “diet & health” thread friends. I walked four miles and went to bed without supper :/)

I wish I felt that way. I always think sides are the weakest part of my game...

I was pondering last night that this coating would be grand on lots of different veggies.
Brussels Asparagus Squash etc. my wife has had the corn with husk still on several times. Best I recall the Butter was always Squeeze Parkay. I’m not sure if it is for convenience of application or taste-perhaps both?Just FYI

Might enter the MSU Lab and see what stirs.
