...bamboo cutting board. They donít do well in a dishwasher. Youíll be buying another and seasoning them. Luckily bamboo is cheaper than teak and maple

Bamboo cutting boards are sonically dead material. They make great items to put your speakers on or your AVR or amplifiers. They look good. Don't make noise. And in a pinch you can take them and make a salad

Pulled mine out of the dishwasher yesterday (after not being the one who put it in, ahem), and there's a nice split in it. C'mon, man!

My heart hurts for you.... My wife puts NOTHING w/ a non serrated blade NOR made of wood into the dishwasher anymore.

Good luck to you brother in your quest for quality bbq tools.

Put it in the dishwasher a few more times and youíll soon have two cutting boards.

I don't cut raw meat on mine. Fresh veggies and cooked meats. Grilled Steaks cut and served (photos too). Nice change from a background of butcher paper. I live in a fairly arid climate. I have used food grade mineral oil, but this time I'm using grape seed oil and coconut oil. Clean with salt lemon or lime smear s omw coconut oil when dried. I've never had one go funky on me but like I said I don't chop slice or prep raw meats on mine.
8$ at Tuesday Morning store.

Yep, Wife thinks everything goes in the dishwasher.

I have finally broke her of that.. BUT she DOES believe if it doesnt go in the dish washer, shes not washing it. So i clean all my wood boards, nice wood spoons, and knives by hand. Small price to pay.

And like above, I use food grade mineral oil on them once they are dry.

You can never break them of that. Just like you can't break us of leaving the seat up, sprinkling, etc.. Don't know what to do about it. LOL

Perfect time to make your own! I used edge grain Purple Heart and rock maple for mine.
