I stopped by Wally World today to get oven cleaner and made the obligatory pass through the meat department, as I do anywhere that sells meat. Spotted some yellow tags and swooped in for a closer look...16Adams showed us the ways of the yellow tag. I rarely buy meat at Walmart but they had a bin of angus beef which I figure is probably sourced from the same place that Sam's gets theirs...nicely marbled, unlike what I have found at Costco or Sam's lately.

Marked down. Ribeye throwdown still active. Into the cart it went. Still a few days left to decide what I'll do. I now have the yellow [tag] fever.

How is that only $9/lb at full price??? It's like $15 minimum in groceries here. Never even thought to look for tomahawks at wallies.

Everything is regional/relative. To Smitty and other Texas brethren $9.xx is expensive. I index everything to a fast food combo meal. If I can eat better food for the same money as a McCrap burger, it isnt expensive :thumb:
