Dinner at my sister's tomorrow, they're doing a pork rib roast.
Nothing on Sunday but I have a day off on Monday and I'm thinking of smoking some chicken.

Happy Phriday, Pholks! I've got a lovely 13.5 lb choice brisket (super thick flat, well marbled) that I need to freeze or cook this weekend. Got it on sale 2 weekends ago for $1.49/lb and forgot it was there. Tomorrow looks like a rainout, but it might be a go for a hot and fast Sunday cook with leftovers for the week.

Going out with phriends phor pizza tonight, planning on doing some maintenance/upgrades to the ECB ophset this weekend, paint the outside and add a warming shelf to the outside of the phirebox.
Might need to throw a chuckie in the electric ECB phor Sunday.

I've got some more scrubbin to do on the Mak 2 Star I picked up earlier in the week, but I'm hoping by Sunday I'll be able to sail off on my maiden voyage with it. Probably a nekkid fatty and a pork butt.

I don't plan. So what I'm doing is always a surprise to me.
I do have a chunk of Port Loin I Sous Vide yesterday, so I'll be doing something with that piece of piggy.
Normally I make jerky out of Pork Loin. But I do enjoy a chunk of Pork Loin just cooked up simple, with some brown gravy, and veggies of some sort.
No big plans. :rolleyes: (Cept I am out of beer. So going to get a 30 box for the curing fridge ballast.)

probably not much. im gonna be at work all weekend overseeing an eagle scout project and its pouring down rain tomorrow so i doubt im gonna drag a smoker up here with me.

Paging Dr Phu and all you smokin ember heads!!!.......Stinger....hang tough brother....hopefully you will feel a lot better after your surgery.....going to be stormy most of weekend so I’m clueless......I DID get an 13 lb Angus brisket from walmart of all places yday for $30 bucks......figured it was worth a try.....anywho.....smoke and enjoy.....Peace y’all.....

Rubbed and sealed 8 pounds of prime chuck roast for smoking on Sunday. Half was done with a green chili rub, and the other half with Something called Deep Tissue Massage rub, sent to me by a buddy in New Mexico.

I also have to start a batch of bacon curing, and I'm thinking about doing some pastrami.
