I’m a Texas Salt and Pepper kind of guy. That’s honestly all I ever use. I let the meat speak for its self. I know this is not far off from what I normally go for but to me this is not far from heaven. It smells fantastic! This will give that kiss of smoke when I’m not smoking. Purchased from HEB. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190209/5e327fd9515dc7bf2fa1a0e7dc482a2b.jpg

Never seen that. Was it overpriced?

Honestly most seasonings I buy are over priced to me. I believe it was about 5 bucks. If it tastes anything like it smells it’s worth it in my book. I’m considering attempting jerky. Don’t have a dehydrater and the weather isn’t right for me to man the smoker. So I’m thinking about using the oven. Maybe this will give me the smoke I’ll be missing. We will see.

If it's half as good as their sausages it will be killer! If possible give us a review, I need to restock my Texas sausages.

Doesn't sound too expensive. I remember a salt and pepper rub that was around $9.

Let me tell you something. Anything pre packaged is nothing near fresh or whatever. Not my cup of tea. But southside market packaged sausage is freaking incredible! It’s my go to.

I always get sausage when I'm there. The bank i work for has a branch in Elgin and the bank pays for my lunch when I'm out of town. :becky:

I assume you have receipts. Perhaps an audit is in order? :-P

You talking to about Killen’s S&P at Bucee’s? :pound: I almost bought it but went for the jerky instead.
