Could not be more fired up. Saw this little guy... a fully loaded 640 on Craigs and gobbled it up.
Current Firmware, 2-pc Deflector, grill plates, 1/2 top shelf, full top shelf, cover, ports, dual thermos... stoked!
I'm new to this - can't wait to clean her up a bit and go into work Monday smelling like smoke.
Grateful!

How much did you pay? Never anything besides traegers or gmg around here.

Much less than this thing loaded up new, and shipped to me.
(hint: 4 digits less....)
Super stoked. I mean, it has everything but the cart. And seeing as its going to sit on my covered porch, the cart would only add to its badassery - for my first Yoder, I'm fine with this. I'll BA my next one.
Picked up some Hickory pellets from HD. Fired it up - all good. Smokey goodness. There's a proper BBQ shop not too far from here - I'll grab some pecan and some higher quality hickory this weekend.
In closing
Gotta say - the guy I bought this from was awesome on all levels. He took the time to show it to me (driving half an hour to his storage area) - so I could check it out. Looked good... normal usage for a 2015 model.
After further research, I Venmo'd a deposit. A few days later I went back today - he had a trailer waiting, he delivered to my house, unloaded it, took it to the back yard, fired it up, showed me the basics...
We're talking about a Craigger here. Dude went MORE than the extra mile. Coolest Craigger ever.
Super excited.
Gonna grill steaks tonight (all I have here...) and tomorrow we shop for Brisket and likely some other stuff, too.
Can't wait.
Love the forum. Been lurking for a couple of weeks as I've been considering what to buy. In SoCal we grill everything... but generally charcoal or propane.
This is going to be a fun learning curve. So grateful I stumbled on the Yoder this week.

Congratulations on a great deal! Saw you post this on a Yoder group on FB. Plenty of YS640 users around here!

Great find. I’m not a cat person, but If I was I think me and Miguel would be best friends. Great photo.
