Looks great! What's the fascination with the double door? Every builder it seems...single door I feel is more versatile for whole pig and large cuts.

I see the handle... Can you realistically pull that thing around? Looks like a hernia waiting to happen.

I wonder if it actually can cook.

If I recall correctly, one builder said it requires more work for a single door. More work to reinforce it so it doesn’t warp itself and create gaps in the door.

Being paul the customer got a free upgrade to a cabinet model.

I feel bad for Jamie Greer. He comes up with a original idea and design and everyone from Texas to Georgia rips him off.

That happens in every business.
They really do look similar to Jambos.

Nice designs - where ever they came from. Maybe being mentioned here will get him some business and we see how they cook one day.

I wish him luck.

No mention of the thickness of the steel.

I've talked with him a little about a pit being that he's 5 minutes from my house. Prices jumped about 15-16 months ago outside of my comfort zone for a lesser known builder. He's built the pit for Smoke Sessions, which is putting out IMO since if the best bbq in the state right now.

Who did greer get the idea from?

My dad had two barrels and a fire box for a smoker 45 years ago but I don't think Jamie saw my dad's smoker to take the idea.
