Did my first prime brisket. Finally found them at Costco and 50 cents a pound cheaper than depot briskets.

Also I got a lot great gifts but my wife totally stunned me with new offset. Still in Tennessee but on it's way. She found a link I posted on here asking about an offset and saw I wanted a Lone Star. She was thinking about the Oklahoma Joe Long Horn but read up and on info on them. So she got me a 20x42 Lone Star. Yes I'm still in shock.

Merry Christmas all.

Well hell, that just ruined my Christmas. Here I was being happy and content with a KO Worksharp, some edge guards, a knife roll and some fishing waders, then you have to post this !!!!!:-P:-P

Congrats on the smoker. It looks great!

Thanks. I'm still in disbelief. I was trying to sell my Humphrey's cabinet to go towards an LSG.

How many full briskets or how many St.;Louis racks you think you can fit total?
Nice cook, by the way.

Not sure how many Briskets but I have had 8 3lb tritip and 50 poppers on it and still had room for a pan of beans at one time. The top shelf is a bit smaller and the ribs will not fit strait in so you have to lay them length wise but you could get about 6 on the top. The bottom shelf you can put them straight in and you can fit alot maybe 8-9. This grill has a ton of space half the time I feel bad only cooking 1 or 2 things seeing all the space haha. Trust me you are going to love it!!! What is really nice is the temp is about 75 degree difference from the top to bottom racks so if you need to cook at 2 different temps you can. It will hold the same temp all the way across the racks also no real hot or cold spots.
