View Full Version : My first go at a brisket point

Been smoking for a while, but could never find a full packer brisket or a brisket point here in eastern Mass. Can only seem to find just flats.

Anyway, on Wednesday I stumbled across just a point so I bought it. Smoked it Sunday. Excellent.

First pic is when it reached 202°. Still needed more rendering. Second pic is after a couple more hours on the cooker. I ate way too many of them. Melts away in your mouth like cotton candy, but tastes like cow.
