Hope you have lots of Shiner, you're gonna be thirsty.
That's just about the right amount...for a large chicken.

:puke: I’ve tried whichever one the Brits like and it Sucked. Was at a 2 week training in Houston for my previous job and had 1 Brit and 2 Aussies in the class. The Brit had some and Aussies ate it but kept saying how inferior it was - they had a Friendly argument going the whole 2 weeks.

You are in America, eating toast with Irish butter, and an Aussie condiment so does that mean your meal is diversified?

I will probably keep passing the jar when you hand it to me. It has been more than 7 years since I had any though. Maybe my tastebuds have died off since then...? :twitch:

Imagine spreading some beef base on some buttered toast. It is pretty close, but with a little more funk.

Think back to sometime back. Not a recent memory-not a distant memory but an in between. A beer- real beer not light-a banquet or shiner- was nursed thru the evening and put aside with maybe 3/4 inch. Every intention was to cherish that last bit- but didn’t happen.

The next morning you see it. Hold it to the light- all good- so the last bit is gulped at room temperature before discarding bottle. If by chance you’ve done this enough you know it’s not bad-just a malty different.

Now think of that taste on hot buttered toast.

I enjoyed it.

Thanks Josh! Sounds a bit strong for me.

^^^What he said. And don't worry about the BB date, that stuff never goes off with the amount of sodium in it. I've used jars that have been expired by at least 5 years and it tasted the same as the day it was opened.

Has an odd allure. Maybe it’s all the B Vitamins. Maybe the salt.
