It's on it's way to its new home....mine!!!
Jeff @ Assassin sent me pics of my new 48" grill/smoker that as of Friday was being shipped to me.
I can't wait to receive it and try it out! Wife and I have already decided on some ribeye steaks as our first meat on the grill.

I had them install two thermometer's as I do a lot of two-zone cooking.
Have to say Jeff at Assassin was FANTASTIC to work with.

I agree. And it looks like there will be 1,378,256 less nails in this crate than in the LSG I recently received. ;)

I love this model Assassin. There's one for sale a few minutes away but i just don't need it. I don't grill large quantities and sure don't need another smoker. Being logical is stupid sometimes.

Will do.
It arrived yesterday but I have been quite sick with a stomach virus since last Thursday. I've lost 5 pounds from it. Today is the first day I'm feeling like I may be back to normal.
Looking over the crate, it looks to be MUCH easier to access than what my Lone Star Grillz was.
I will take pics hopefully today and post.

How does this rig do as a grill? Can you adjust the grate height relative to the fire? If not, is the charcoal bed close enough to the bottom grill rack for some good hot n fast grilling?

Just unbowed it today and an seasoning it now.
There are two positions in which to put the coal bed - one is very close and one a bit further away.
