Always put next few logs on firebox, this time...30 minutes later, when I went to check it they were on fire! Guess, I'm cooking my burgers on the kettle with wood logs. There's a first for everything I suppose.

The same happened to me once, not open flames, but smoldering splits with glowing embers. Valuable lesson learned, and luckily, you caught yours as well.

Happens to me often. It's not really an issue because I'm far enough away from anything that can be damaged before I get back out there.

Used to happen on my previous offset. Another reason to think about the insulated fb.

It happens from time to time. Not a big problem. I just go ahead and stick them in. Then I'll wait a short time before I put the next ones on. It's not rocket science.

Looking good so far, gonna have to finish it in the pellet pooper so I can get some sleep. Should have some tasty sammies for next few days. And some free time to ride the bike this weekend.
