View Full Version : We did a Cook at the Celina TX Ace Hardware

Shelly and I did a Cook at the Celina TX Ace Hardware featuring SuckleBusters. We met a lot of great people there. A little rain at first but we managed by setting the tables under the front awning.
I cooked a nice pork butt on my Big Green Egg for pulled pork with Hog Waller. We also made a killer Pulled Pork Smoked Mac and Cheese.
I think the winner was the BBQ Cookies Shelly created with SuckleBusters Texas Pecan Rub and Peach BBQ Sauce. These cookies were Amazing!! We will cook these at the 2018 Texas BBQ Brethren Fall Bash at Belton Lake this year. :mrgreen:

SuckleBusters is good stuff. Put it in hotch's and shelley's hands and it's out of this world good! If you don't believe me stop by any of the Texas bashes.

That looks like a really fun time and those cookies look delicious. I wish the hardware stores in these parts would do this. It happens occasionally but it's rare. I've been eyeballing SuckleBusters products for awhile. You've convinced me. I just ordered the SPG and Texas Pecan rub.

You will like the SPG. I use it instead of plain salt and pepper on our table. I also add it to other rubs to kick up the POW! :mrgreen:

As always, when Hotch and Shelley show up, the good eating goes way up. I bet those cookies were out of sight!
