Got some blues hog lump charcoal the other day. At the Sutherlands I was at, it was more expensive than the Kamado Joe brand. Just doing a looks comparison, the blues hog seemed to be 25% bigger for a 20lb bag than the other one with a 20lb. Anybody else ever notices this? Makes me look hard at continuong to buy Blues Hog.
I guess another question is, when you buy lump, is size more important than weight assuming that you arent buying rocks in either bag?
