Just as the title says, does anyone make a big pellet smoker trailer?
I've noticed that Traeger and Green Mountain Grills make one, anybody have any experience with those?
Thanks!

Check out Yoder Smokers. They make some trailers with pellet smokers mounted on them.

I bet a decent size trailer pellet smoker would burn the heck out of the pellets!!! Gonna be expensive to use I would think.

Cookshack will mount an FEC-300, FEC-500, or FEC-750 on a trailer for you, and they use about 2 lbs of pellets per hour at 250 degrees. Capacity ranges from approximately 300 lbs of meat to 750 lbs of meat depending on the model, and you are spending about $14 in pellets for a ten-hour cook. Cheaper if you are buying your pellets by the pallet.

In addition to the ones mentioned above Woodmaster has a nice trailer option. The smokin Bros make some great stuff. That would probably be my first look.

I like the look of the Big Pig pellet trailer from Green Mountain Grills. My neighbor had one in Texas and seemed to swore by it. I tried the whole hog he had on it and it was pretty good.

I was looking at the Big Pig Rig, they have it on sale for $5,999 instead of $7,999 but Iím concerned with the temp being close to even across the grates, with my Daniel Boone there is definitely a lot hotter side and no matter how I adjust the heat shield like they say it doesnít get better.

Anybody have any experience with the big pig rig?

I like the way this one is set up but at $10,000 I like to hear from someone who owns one on how they work?
I canít find many reviews on it

While I'm sure it would be costly I'm certain that Ritch from GatorPits would mount this bad boy to a trailer.

I use to own the big pig trailer from green mountain. Personal message me if you have questions.

At those prices you might look at getting the pellet smoker of your choice and talk to a local builder to build a trailer and mount it.

I would call Gator Pits and get them to build one on a trailer for you. I have a 24x36 pellet cooker from them and am happy with it.

Damn that is a nice pellet grill, thanks for letting me know about it!

If you end up calling Gator Pits about that pellet smoker please report back with how the conversation went. Ritch makes some very well made products, though a bit expensive, but that double-hopper pellet smoker looks like a hell of a piece of equipment.

Good luck!

I do not own one myself. One of my favorite bbq places in central Missouri, with two locations, use an older model of this cooker for their business. They male some real good product on it. Good brisket, pork steak, and pulled pork. Not sure about pellet usage though.
